"Leaving, breaking camp... That's what all the members of the Anadolu Quartet did and arrived in Berlin and Zurich. What they all experienced was a certain loss of language.

Anadolu-Quartett
The composer Rita Maria Jurt, who also experienced leaving, tries to translate this experience into music in her composition. The sounds of the string quartet thus approach the composer's contemporary music and then make a connection to the wonderful, sensual world of Anatolian-Kurdish folk music and beyond that to the neighboring countries.
