"In eternal friendship" - Berlin book premiere
Literature LIVE at the Renaissance Theater - Nele Neuhaus reads from "In ewiger Freundschaft" (Berlin book premiere). The tenth case of the investigator duo Pia Sander and Oliver von Bodenstein by bestselling author Nele Neuhaus.
A woman is missing. In the upper floor of her house in Bad Soden, the police find the demented father, confused and dehydrated. And in the kitchen, traces of a bloodbath. The investigation leads Pia Sander and Oliver von Bodenstein to the renowned Frankfurt literary publisher Winterscheid, where the missing woman was program manager. She was fired after more than thirty years, whereupon she delivered one of her authors to the knife for plagiarism - a scandal and perhaps a motive for murder? When the woman's body is found and another murder occurs, Pia and Bodenstein stumble upon a well-kept secret. Both victims knew it. It was their death sentence. Who must die next? Pia and Bodenstein chase a perpetrator who always seems to be one step ahead of them ...
Nele Neuhaus, born in Münster / Westphalia, has lived in the Taunus since childhood and has been writing for just as long. Her 2010 crime novel Snow White Must Die brought her her big breakthrough, and today she is Germany's most successful crime writer. The passionate equestrian also writes books for young horses and light fiction. Her books are published in over 30 countries.
