The ensemble "astrophil & stella" presents pieces from the chanson print "Vingt et sept chansons musicales" by the Parisian music publisher Pierre Attaingnant from 1533 and looks through the mirror of the often melancholic compositions, which often hide all facets of human emotions under the courtly and bourgeois etiquette. For her concerto for transverse flute consort and lute, flutist Johanna Bartz, who was born in northern Germany and now lives in Basel, has gathered around her a top-class ensemble of specialists in Renaissance music.
