For some critics they are the "little sisters of the Allman Brothers", but Larkin Poe from Atlanta/Georgia have more to offer. The two sisters Rebecca Lovell (born in 1991) and Megan Lovell (born in 1989) have been in the business for far too long to disturb comparisons or drawers.
As fellow musicians of established acts such as Elvis Costello, Conor Oberst (Bright Eyes) or Kristian Bush (Sugarland) they have already made a name for themselves before Larkin Poe. Strong Southern rock melodies and rock harmonies mate with heavy riffs and slide guitars.
