„Shakespeare“ – Herbstkonzert

Dramatic, poetic, emotionally moving. Shakespeare's great world theater has inspired composers from different eras to create congenial works. The Berlin State Youth Orchestra will play three of them in the autumn concert on November 5, 2023 in the Konzerthaus Berlin. Also on the program: Bohuslav Martinů's Oboe Concerto. The soloist is Juan Pechuan Ramirez, principal oboist of the Deutsche Oper Berlin. Simon Gaudenz conducts. An event organized by the Landesmusikrat Berlin e.V.

The orchestra offers advanced young instrumentalists the opportunity to continue their education under the direction of experienced conductors and lecturers in the ensemble. This enables valuable musical and personal experiences for the participants, many of whom are prizewinners at the state and national competitions Jugend musiziert.

  • Antonín Dvořák - "Othello" - Concert Overture in F sharp minor, Op. 93
