30 Years Anniversary Live Show + Visual Show

Kruder & Dorfmeister, the legendary electronic production and DJ duo, celebrates its 30th anniversary with an extensive live tour of selected venues around the world.

Kruder & Dorfmeister have been presenting their unique blend of audio and visual performance since the early 90s. At the time, Vienna was an up-and-coming techno metropolis but K&D preferred to long back to the dancefloor of the 80s - inspired by hip hop, groove, dub, new wave and everything in between.

Then, when major labels embraced the first post-acid jazz wave, Kruder & Dorfmeister were already one step ahead, taking cues from 60s and 70s Afro-Jazz or Pink Floyd for their breakthrough debut "G-Stoned."
They then released the double album "The K&D Sessions," which sold millions of copies worldwide and solidified their status as pioneers of the downtempo genre. Recently they released the album "1995", which was highly praised by the critics and is another testimony to their timeless qualities.

Their stated goal from the beginning was to produce a personal sound and not follow the guidelines of a genre. So it happens that Kruder & Dorfmeister are happiest when the audience takes their music and DJ sets as what they are meant to be:

An ode to listening, feeling, sensing and tonal language.

Kruder & Dorfmeister will imposingly prove this on October 29, 2023 at the Theater des Westens as part of their 30th stage anniversary.
The duo will be accompanied by a dynamic LED experience designed by Jascha Suess.
