GRAND OPENING OF THE KOLONNADEN BAR WITH THE FLYING STEPS, TALK AND MUSIC AT THE BAR
This summer, the State Museums in Berlin will open the Colonnade Bar again. Specially designed for this location, the bar combines everything it needs. Get-togethers, cold drinks and stimulating conversations. For some, a long night begins here, for others it is a relaxing end to one of the most beautiful places in Berlin.

From Thursday, June 29, 2023, the National Museums in Berlin invite you to the Kolonnaden Bar on Museum Island Berlin every Thursday from 7 p.m. for five weeks. Moderated talks, DJ sets and cool drinks promise a pleasant summer evening in the Kolonnadenhof directly on the Spree.
The grand opening starts as part of the Kultursommerfestival Berlin on June 29, 2023 at 5 p.m. with a dance performance by the Flying Steps.
The Colonnade Bar Talk begins at 7 p.m. Admission is free. The events will take place even if it rains. The colonnades of Museum Island Berlin are protected from the weather.
This year the focus is on topics such as sport, dance and movement. Moderated by the journalist Julia Vismann, art historians, archaeologists, directors, sports photographers, quantum physicists, bicycle experts and actors establish connections between art and other disciplines.
DJs hang up after the talks.
Admission is free.
