With Evgeniya Kleyn (piano) and Alexander Estis (text)
Literature meets music, words meet sounds, piano meets comedy: virtuoso interpretations by Evgeniya Kleyn combine with linguistic acrobatics by Alexander Estis to create a satirical stage program.
Can classical music be funny? You will no longer ask yourself this question after attending our reading concert. Witty gems by Mozart, Bach, Paganini, Saint-Saëns, Satie, Medtner and Ligeti, among others, enter into a dialogue with satirical miniatures about the search for the right instrument, about compositions that only consist of thirds, about the conductor who has no orchestra, the ticket clerk who becomes an organist, and even about the higher meaning of the concert cough.
The pianist Evgeniya Kleyn and the writer Alexander Estis play the entire range of comedy with virtuosity - from slapstick to irony.
