"Dear Quick, a strange incident forces me to write to you again..." these words begin 115 unknown treasures from the pen of Germany's greatest humorist. Between 1957 and 1961, the column "The Completely Open Letter" appeared in the illustrated magazine QUICK In it, Vicco von Bülow alias Loriot drew a portrait of the morals of the young Federal Republic in concise, always pointed texts.
With the letters, Loriot took the first step from illustrator to author. His brilliant announcements as a television presenter are already laid out here. Likewise the sketches with which he would later fascinate a mass audience.
Johann von Bülow is not only a well-known actor who has appeared in films such as Das Adlon, The Mirror Affair, the movie Elser or in the cult series Murder with a View, but, as Bülow's name suggests, he is also a nephew of Loriot and therefore predestined to recite the recently rediscovered letters on stage.
A homage to the great humorist Loriot and a highlight.
This show is only played in German.
