Jazz Cafe – Jan Klares’ CHILD

Seven musicians from a wide variety of musical backgrounds work together here on a repertoire that is both highly ambitious and, precisely because of this, entertaining.

KIND plays a form of European third-stream jazz in which composition plays a key role, and uses the term ‘controlled derailed chamber music’.

It is non-idiomatic music that bridges the gap between intellect and spirituality.

Although still relatively new, KIND has already performed at various festivals and clubs

Line-up:

• Shabnam Parvaresh – clarinet
• David Helm – bass
• Bruna Cabral – percussion
• Jan Klare – saxophone, bassoon
• Els Vanderweyer – vibraphone
