The Route Irish Band interprets Irish dance music, traditionals and ballads from the Emerald Isle and people who have been inspired by it in their own unique way. Their love of Irish folk music brought the musicians together a few years ago. The result is a variety of playful arrangements, played on traditional instruments and "seasoned" with a pinch of saxophone and cello, which gives the band its very own sound.
Come with us on a musical journey through vast landscapes of untouched nature, listen to stories in the pubs that tell of love, passion and courage and let yourself be carried away by fiery jigs and reels.
The program is themed "St. Patrick's Day", which the Irish all over the world celebrate on March 17th in honor of the Irish national hero St. Patrick.
