"How can the Shoah still be told when contemporary witnesses are dwindling?"

On the International Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Holocaust, these victims are remembered and today's forms and possibilities of commemoration and warning are highlighted.

Opening speech: District Mayor of Mitte, Stefanie Remlinger


Puppet theater One of You (excerpt): The artist Susi Claus deals with the fate of children and young people in the years 1933 to 1945.


Speech: The Israeli author and filmmaker Ron Segal, who lives in Berlin, addresses the question in a short speech: "How can the Shoah still be told when the number of contemporary witnesses is dwindling?"


At the end, the Kaddish will be recited by the cantor Tal Koch.
