The artists see INS OFFENE..! as a greenhouse of innovative approaches and as a bridge to a multimedia concert experience of the future.

The central theme of the INS OFFENE..! festival in 2023 is...Dreams!

An exciting journey into unknown dream worlds leads immediately after entering the cold store through video installations, visual art, electronic sounds and delicacies at the bar. The staging of the entrance ritual is an integral part of the festival concept.
  • Admission to the concerts is from 7:00 to 7:30 p.m. daily; the musical part begins at 8:00 p.m.

In addition, the festival offers education programs:
  • a master class by world-famous Ukrainian composer Valentin Silvestrov,
  • a seminar on "Social media marketing for artists
  • and a discussion format with cultural leaders on the future of our classical concert life.

All ticket holders for one of the festival events will be admitted to the afterparty on Saturday to let the festival come to an end with DJs on all floors of the Berlin industrial monument.

The musical participants of the festival are exclusively young musicians performing in individually cast ensembles:
Karajan Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic | Barenboim-Said Academy alumni | CAERUS chamber ensemble | laureates of the Fanny Mendelssohn Prize.

They create exciting and highly innovative concert formats together with renowned artists from other genres:
Meike Droste (Acting) | Emmanouela Dolianiti (Dance) | Carlota Marques (Electronics) | Denis Davydov & Uta Bekaia (NFT Video Art) | Margarita Broich (Reading)

INS OFFEN..! presents visual art as part of the festival's concert events, such as the picture series "Music in Picture" by the Italian artist Flavio de Marco, paintings by the Ukrainian painter Kate Nikolya, or the video installation "Artificial Intelligence Mental Disorder" by the Uzbek-Azerbaijani artist duo Denis Davydov and Farhad Farzali.
