The encounter with death raises questions that often accompany people throughout their lives. The exhibition visualises such questions not through individual exhibits, but through scenic images and arrangements. The audience moves within them and is invited to position themselves individually and as part of a society in which there are different ways of dealing with death.
The training addresses the possibilities of a scenographic exhibition and introduces methods of sensual, scenically mediated, interactive learning. The participants will discuss the challenge of finding a common stage for individual concepts and experiences - as a public space of experience and encounter that allows for social plurality and integrates different forms of learning. (How) can an exhibition be an adequate medium to approach the topic of death?
