Igor Levit is a world-renowned pianist known for his extraordinary talent, his deep musical understanding and his commitment to social and political causes. Born in Russia in 1987, Levit moved to Germany at a young age and began studying piano there. He quickly gained recognition for his exceptional abilities and won numerous prestigious international piano competitions.
In addition to his musical achievements, Levit is also actively involved in raising awareness of social and political issues. He uses his platform to champion causes such as human rights, climate change and mental health. Levit's outspokenness and activism have made him a prominent figure outside the world of classical music.
