Wen Hui
In “I Am 60”, Wen Hui explores her own history along with that of her female family members. The pioneer of contemporary dance in China takes up the emancipation movement of the 1930s in Shanghai, which was expressed in film, among other things.

In her first solo work, she interweaves historical film clips with private documents, memories and statistical facts: a poetic, powerful, and intergenerational narrative about the role of women in a country that has been in transition over many decades.
