How did the "Reichsbank furniture" get its name? Why did these valuable French antiques end up in the Märkisches Museum, which focuses on Berlin's urban history?

Our experts will take you on a walk around the former Reichsbank building, now home to the Federal Foreign Office. On the way, they will tell you about the historic Friedrichswerder district and the exciting search for the origins of the furniture, which goes back to the time of the German occupation of Paris between 1940 and 1944.
