Tashi Wada: “Hour of the Star”. A Composition for Voice and Mixed Ensemble
For his new work "Hour of the Star," Los Angeles-based composer and musician Tashi Wada collaborated with the experimental Berlin-based performance collective "Harmonic Space Orchestra" and American singer and multi-instrumentalist Julia Holter.

The premiere performance is part of an extended residency as Deutsche Bank Fellow in Music Composition at the American Academy in Berlin.
Tashi Wada, known as the son and musical collaborator of influential Fluxus artist Yoshi Wada, works with alternative and tempered tunings in contemporary music, historical tuning systems from various cultures around the world, and acoustics and psychoacoustics as compositional tools.
