How does the honey get into the jar? What do the bees collect from the flowers? And how were bees actually kept in the Middle Ages?
Guests will find the answers to these and other questions in the open-air museum. They help in the barn to discover the honeycombs and to spin the honey. Those who want to get to know the industrious insects better can observe them at the bee stand in the showcase and learn exciting things about beekeeping. On the village square, various bee hives from prehistoric times and the Middle Ages are on display.
