In general, the way the two Australians look at the world, their apparently fundamentally positive attitude to life, and their enthusiasm touch listeners almost instantly, which is why their fan numbers have been steadily increasing since their debut in 2017, their videos and songs are streamed millions of times, and they play to sold-out concert halls worldwide.
Live, Henderson and Carins easily exude warmth and enthusiasm not only for each of their songs, but also for the themes of them: exploring new cultures, longing to be far away, living in the here and now, and appreciating even the small things in life.
Their concerts are moments in which wanderlust can be briefly forgotten and optimism triumphs over negativity. In the current times, that seems to be exactly the right thing to do.
