ES IST GENUGEN ANGST FÜR ALLE DA shows street scenes that played in front of his lens during his attentive wanderings through the city at this special time.
Holger Biermann began to dedicate himself to traditional street photography in New York in 2001, where he created impressive series such as 'Leaving Today', or 'Don't call me, I call you'.
Between series of artistic forays through other cities, structural and architectural works, street life in Berlin is always a recurring theme for Biermann. Thus, an almost contemporary collection of Berlin street life has grown, which he is currently expanding with scenes from the current exceptional period. Disturbing, comical and magical things that he encounters are captured in equal measure.
Since 2004, the exhibition venue Supalife Kiosk has formed an important bastion of cultural diversity and artistic exchange in Prenzlauer Berg. In the gallery and platform for the urban art and screen printing scene in Berlin, visitors to the photography exhibition ES IST GENUG ANGST FÜR ALLE DA by Holger Biermann will also find a rich collection of prints and special art publications.
Opening: Saturday, June 27, 7 pm
