Von Christian Giese nach Volker Ludwig mit Musik von Matthias Bernhold, Michael Brandt und Birger Heymann

A fast-paced play on the subject of sustainability: When Anna comes to school, nine-year-old Julia is immediately fascinated. Anna is different. She speaks to the Asta tree, can read minds and taste contaminants in food.

At first, Julia is enthusiastic about Anna’s radical views on environmental and climate issues. For her it is clear: All the toxic things in the world are due to adults, not children! Julia’s friend Aldi, who initially does not think much of Anna, also realises that his plastic consumption cannot go on like this. The planet is on red alert! Julia wants to act and make adults and children equally responsible.

The three of them are planning a big environmental show at the school. When Aldi learns from the caretaker's assistant Otto that Asta should be felled for a new sports facility, events suddenly get going. The friendship of Julia, Anna and Aldi is also put to a severe test.

“Himmel, Erde, Luft und Meer” by Volker Ludwig was premiered at GRIPS in 1990 and already had its finger on the pulse of the times. GRIPS actor and author Christian Giese took the material as the starting point for a humorous story and asked him again: What kind of world are we leaving behind for future generations? In the times of FRIDAYS FOR FUTURE, many of them have long since drawn attention to what is going wrong and have found their own loud voice. Is it not time to listen to them?

A fast-paced game on the theme of sustainability by Christian Giese based on Volker Ludwig with music by Matthias Bernhold, Michael Brandt and Birger Heymann.
