The Hagen Quartet plays Haydn, Beethoven and Ravel

In an almost unchanged line-up with an experience of more than 40 years of concerts together, the quartet around the three Hagen siblings is on stage.

Chamber music ensembles are often compared to families because of the indispensable familiarity between their members. That in the best of them, members of real families often make music together is evident in the entire quartet series that the Philharmonie Berlin has put together for the 2023/2024 season.

Program:

  • Joseph Haydn String Quartet in B flat major Hob. III:78 "Sunrise."
  • Maurice Ravel String Quartet in F major
  • Ludwig van Beethoven String Quartet in F major op. 135
