But this Gruffalo is
at first only an invention of the mouse to keep the other animals from eating
it. Then, however, the
fantasy becomes reality, but ultimately the mouse can save itself from danger
by trickery. A little lesson
about fear and courage and the happiness of the little ones, who come out big
when they only use their imagination.
The children's book
by the English author Julia Donaldson, which has meanwhile become a world
bestseller, has been lovingly arranged by the Rheinländisches Figurentheater
and will be performed for an entire month in the theatre tent.
