Become part of AIDA - THE ARENA OPERA SPECTACLE on Thursday, 09. November 2023 in Berlin.
Time required (after successful casting): Only 1 day!
On March 7, 2024, the Mercedes-Benz Arena will transform into ancient Egypt for "AIDA - Das Arena Opern Spektakel" and take the audience on a journey through time: 3,000 years back in time, the Isar River will be swapped for the Nile without further ado, and the Mercedes-Benz Arena will become a world between pharaohs and gods, where the moving love story between the Ethiopian prisoner Aida and the Egyptian general Radames takes place.
Musically, the Hanseatic Symphony Orchestra Hamburg under the direction of Michael Ellis Ingram, the eponymous choir as well as internationally renowned soloists guarantee the corresponding high pleasure. But this production has much more to offer: In addition to a gigantic stage set and a "lifelike" elephant, it is numerous soldiers, priests, court ladies and prisoners that give the production its uniqueness and grandeur and make the opera a unique visual experience.

For all (m/f/d) between 18 and 80 years of age, who are physically fit and have the desire to once stand on the "boards that mean the world" in an opera production and slip into the role and costumes of prisoners, this casting offers the unique opportunity.Pre-registration is not required, nor is acting or stage experience.
What is required is enthusiasm, fun and sneakers with light-colored soles, as well as the necessary amount of free time, which is, however, very limited and restricted to the day of the event in the time from 12 noon until the end of the performance at 10:30 pm.
