The A TRANS exhibition in the Zoologischer Garten underground station in Berlin is currently presenting an installation of tufted tapestries with a black-and-white animation. A kind of graffiti wall with image and text messages woven from wool.

The artist Murat Haschu is at home in many artistic genres. He combines graphics, painting, textile art, animation and video to address current political issues such as climate change or information overload, acting subtly and ironically.

Murat Haschu (born in Naltschik, Russia) studied painting and graphics at the Art Academy in Vladikavkaz/North Caucasus as well as textile art and media art at Burg Giebichenstein, University of Art and Design in Halle (Saale), where he currently lives.
