This popular series of events organized by the Reinickendorf Support Group borrows its title from an earlier SFB radio broadcast. Alexander Kulpok, a broadcasting legend and expert on France, goes through the dusty record cabinet together with Hans Olschewski, who provides shellac records and old equipment.

This time the focus is on the French chanson and Edith Piaf, the “Sparrow of Paris”. The 60th anniversary of her death was in October 2023. With artists such as Piaf, Charles Trenet, Maurice Chevalier, Barbara, Georges Brassens, Juliette Gréco and Gilbert Bécaud, the French chanson remains an important musical event of international importance.

The event will take place on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. in the Kulturhaus Center Bagatelle, Zeltinger Straße 6 in Frohnau - very close to Zeltinger Platz (BVG bus line 125).

Admission: 15 euros, reduced: 10 euros.
