Round trips with steam locomotives in the Wuhlheide
After the summer break, this coming weekend, September 9th and 10th, one of the historic locomotives will once again be pulled in front of the open passenger train in the park railway in the Volkspark Wuhlheide in order to invite both young and old visitors to take tours through the Wuhlheide.
The steam train departs every 35 minutes from the main station (main entrance FEZ / An der Wuhlheide) every day from 1:40 p.m. to 5:10 p.m. and stops at all en route stations, including the Wuhlheide S-Bahn station, where there is a direct connection to the S3 S-Bahn line is possible.
The tickets for the half-hour round trips are available both on the trains and at the counter in the main station of the park railway.
They cost 6.50 euros per trip, including the steam surcharge, while children pay 5.00 euros.
Further dates for the use of the steam locomotives are on the weekends of 23./24. September, 7th/8th October, 21st/22nd October and 4th/5th scheduled for Nov.
