… If It Ain't Got That Swing - Black Bottom is a swing big band with the typical Glenn Miller line-up. Alto, tenor and baritone saxophones, trumpets, trombones, piano, drums, bass and guitar provide the hot sound. Sometimes there is even a singer.

Big Band Black Bottom
The name "Black Bottom" comes from the legendary Black Bottom dance, which, like the Charleston, was one of the crazy wobble dances of the 1920s. The song of the same name, written by Ray Henderson in 1926, is the band's theme song.
But Black Bottom doesn't just play 1920s dance music. The classics of the swing era, the big hits of the 1930s by Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman and Count Basie are also part of the repertoire, as is the sound of Glenn Miller from the 1940s.
In addition, the versatile formation plays modern big band jazz from the post-war period, rocking swing titles and well-known film and musical melodies from recent times, as well as South American rhythms and Latin American dances ... if it got that swing!
