The focus of the event is the Berlin composer Ursula Mamlok (1923 - 2016), who would have turned 100 this year. Solo and chamber music works interpreted by musicians from the Fanny Hensel Music School as well as a look at her eventful life between Germany and America form the focus of the evening.


The 15-minute short film "Ursula Mamlok" by Anne Berrini about the composer will be shown in advance, depicting important stages in her life.

Bettina Brand, managing director of the internationally active Mamlok Foundation, will be present.

A cooperation between the Fanny Hensel Music School, the Berlin Mitte Adult Education Center and the Mitte Museum.
