Berlin and Minsk in Belarus have many architectural similarities, but their moods couldn't be more different. While Berlin stands for diversity and dynamism, Minsk is in a stagnating phase due to repression against artists and intellectuals under Lukashenko's regime.

The tour is led by Yauheni, a Belarusian student activist who was forced to leave his home country. He offers an insight into Berlin from his personal perspective as an immigrant and discusses the value of a democratic society in comparison to the political systems in Germany and Belarus.

The tour includes a subway ride (U7) from Alexanderplatz to Boddinstrasse. Participants need a valid BVG ticket (tariff zone AB).
