FLINTA* Voices

Via her own label, ‘very hairy records’, the musician – born in Vorarlberg and recently based in Berlin – released her debut album, ‘Dear Beloved Asshole’, in 2020. Since then, NNELLA has received several awards and played support slots for acts such as SOPHIE HUNGER, CATT and My Ugly Clementine.

Her second album, *Close To A Reality*, was released in April 2024 and features songs in both English and NNELLA’s mother tongue, the Vorarlberg dialect. An emotional rollercoaster full of surprises, oscillating between a zest for life and the longing to understand the world and oneself, if only for a moment. For her new EP, *‘Ich wollte nie nach Berlin’*, NNELLA received the ORF’s SOUND@V Award. The EP features tracks such as the combative feminist *‘Für dich sind alle gleich’* and the anti-fascist *‘Nie wieder’*.

Matching Outfits are a trio of Berliners by choice, whose quirky, melancholic indie-pop sound has even been compared to a “Super 8 film from the loft”. In her lyrics, singer Linnea Mårtensson describes the great losses and minor inconveniences of life in poignant, at times hilarious detail, whilst gentle harmonies give way to dissonant outbursts and sing-along choruses.

Their debut cassette album ‘Band Made Out Of Sand’ caught the attention of the cult radio station WFMU as well as the New Jersey-based label Bar/None, which signed the band and released their second album ‘Ditch Me’ in 2025.
