On the last opening day of the exhibition, you are once again invited to ask questions, discuss or, of course, simply listen.

The curator of the exhibition, Dr Babette Quinkert, will place the photographs and Dieckmann's biography in the context of historical events and discuss the questions that arise when looking at the pictures of the staff officer and amateur photographer:

Why did he choose these motifs? What do they depict? What is missing? Do the pictures allow conclusions to be drawn about Dieckmann's attitude towards the Soviet Union and the local population?
Dr Babette Quinkert will also provide insights into the creation of the exhibition.
