The Triennial of Modernity continues

The event format Triennale der Moderne, which emerged in 2013 from a cooperation between the cities of Weimar, Dessau and Berlin, should be continued at all costs. This is the clear vote of the partners, which was determined and decided at the final conference on December 10, 2019.

In 2022, there will once again be an extensive program that will highlight and visit the architectural and social heritage of modernism. Cooperation with other cities at home and abroad was also confirmed. The test phase of three event years decided upon at the founding was generally considered a success. The film documentation of the conference, which was designed as an internal working meeting, reflects the mood of the organizers.

The Triennale der Moderne is a joint event series of the cities of Weimar, Dessau and Berlin with their World Heritage Sites of Modernism. It takes place on three consecutive weekends in the three partner cities, but also sees itself as a prelude to an expanded network of architectural modernism and strives in the longer term to win over other UNESCO World Heritage Sites of the 20th century or even other cities with a similar architectural history to participate. For those interested, the format offers the opportunity to discover the cultural heritage of this exciting as well as eventful era in the course of numerous events and guided tours.
