Treasures of the Future
Experience the first family show at Futurium for the theme year “Treasures of the Future”! Are you thinking of relaxing and watching from the sofa? Because the show needs you and your favorite everyday companion: your cell phone.
You accompany presenter Julian, known from the KiKA show “Checker Julian”, to a repair café. He just wants to bring something in for repair, but his visit goes differently than expected. The device is missing an important component: gold!
The search for the valuable raw material takes you around the globe, you follow the path of the gold back to a mine in Central Africa. Julian explores the natural treasure trove with virtual reality glasses. Is the material for his repair available here in Berlin?
Back in the repair café, you ask yourself the important questions about the future: How well can cell phones be repaired? What can a sustainable and fair economic cycle look like? How can technologies help with this? And which materials will be important in the future? Check it out!
Say hello to Julian! After the event you can meet Julian in the foyer and have the opportunity to ask questions and take a selfie.
