Ritter Gluck is a story by E.T.A. Hoffmann that first appeared in the "Allgemeine musikalische Zeitung" on 15 February 1809. It is set in the Tiergarten and around Friedrichstraße, so it is quite Berlin-like, albeit focused on music and already somewhat spooky in appearance. In addition, also committed to the music, two satires from the Kreisleriana. Kapellmeister Johannes Kreisler is rightly regarded as the epitome of the romantic artist.
