Delicate bells, thick balls - Mozart's bosom friends. They cultivate a good tone and their pubic hair. The three Kings Maurice, Henry and Amadeus (Carla Wierer, Jakob* and Viola Schmitzer) are a Berlin Gesamtkunstwerk of costume, music and discourse. In the process, they appropriate male-dominated cultural history and ride it with relish.

With the release concert at the Maschinenhaus, "Die Schlangenknaben" celebrate their debut album "so haarig". Three-part vocals, hard beats: compositions from 5 centuries interweave with rough club sounds and bizarre choreographies.
With pieces like "When I am laid" (Purcell), "Nänie" (Schumann), "Lascia ch'io pianga" (Händel), "Die Schlangenknaben" deconstruct works by their classical colleagues and reinterpret them from a queer feminist perspective
