The exhibition In der Stille rasender Winde (In the Silence of Raging Winds) shows paintings, drawings, sculptures and collages by the Berlin artist Detel Aurand, which have been created over the past few years.

Detel Aurand: Conversation with anonymous Beauty, 2022
Accompanying the exhibition is an artist's book of the same name, in which Aurand combines illustrations of her works with descriptions of dreams. The artist's dreams are interwoven with her pictorial work in such a self-evident way that the boundary between real and imagined space seems to dissolve completely - if it ever existed at all.
It is precisely in this simultaneity, the perfect juxtaposition and interweaving of all things and the often indefinable "in-between" that the essence of Aurand's artistic expression lies.
The exhibition runs from 07.10. to 22.12.2023.
