The little sloth bear is terribly bored at home in the bear forest. That's why he encourages his friend, the feathered bear, to go on an unexpected journey. When Faulbär suddenly finds himself alone in a wide area, he is amazed at the different bears - flying bear, brain bear and rascal bear - that he gradually meets.

Can they help him find Federbär again? Because not all of them mean well towards him. Are those all bears he meets there? A large portion of courage and curiosity and, last but not least, the active help of the audience enable the little lazy bear to grow beyond himself. Everyone dances, sings and jumps together with Faulbär.
