A journey through time to the Berlin of the "Roaring Twenties"
Claudia Schönborn takes the audience back to the dazzling twenties, to a Berlin that tasted of freedom and the future, where everything seemed possible - especially for Jewish artists and people who think differently.
The Weimar period was a time of extreme contrasts, but produced enormous cultural vibrancy and diversity, which came to an abrupt end when the Nazis came to power.
With stories, anecdotes, poems and songs, the actress accompanies you through the diverse establishments of this exciting era. The audience encounters a dazzling scene that was influenced by Claire Waldoff, Bert Brecht, Erich Kästner, Else Lasker-Schuler and many other artists – both well-known and forgotten today.
The evening will be accompanied by pianist Regina Knobel.
