Guided bike tour through the Berlin Southwest - Westroute
Experience Berlin from a new side, enjoy a bike ride through the green southwest of the city. Escape the hectic center of Berlin and get to know a whole new side of this city. Experienced guides will introduce you to the buildings of Berlin Modernism along the Dahlem route.
Two routes are offered, each starting at Uncle Tom's Cabin. On the eastern route you will see the Waldsiedlung, the Fischtalpark, the Freie Universität campus and other private and public buildings by well-known architects. The west route leads past buildings from Gropius and Taut from the 30s to buildings from the modern era. Almost all of the buildings shown on the two routes are listed buildings. The bike ride takes about 2.5 hours, bicycles can be borrowed at the start of the tour at the subway station Uncle Toms hut (meeting in front of the exit Uncle Tom Street).
