FOTOGRAFISKA DAYS
As part of Fotografiska Days, Fotografiska Berlin is hosting a series of panel discussions focusing on the main theme of CULTURAL FABRIC and taking a closer look at each subcategory.
The conference will take place on Friday and Saturday (March 24 and 25) on the first floor of the Atelier Gardens Campus (formerly BUFA).
The three-day event program is part of the pre-opening offerings of Berlin's Fotografiska Museum, which will open in Berlin-Mitte in the second half of 2023.
With the help of local and internationally renowned experts, moderators and speakers from the broad field of contemporary visual production, various aspects of the overarching theme of CULTURAL FABRIC will be scrutinized and discussed.
Four panels will critically examine the art and fashion industry in terms of creative freedom, aestheticization, appropriation, tastemaking, commercialization and commodification, and the possibility of breaking through these concepts.
