I am dreaming of this machine that consists of a whole bunch of little parts that interact with each other. Is there a blueprint for insects? Are insects machines as well? How many parts are created when something breaks? Can I create something new out of broken things?
Using a tiny amount of language, transformable materials, moving images, live drawings and sounds, two performers investigate the cra-zy chaos of the world of insects.
¡ver-rückt! Versuche zu Chaos, Fliegen und Maschinen was created out of a one-year research process that the concept team conducted with the children of the Berlin Kindergarten Pfiffikus as part of the programming of TUKI ForscherTheater.
The production draws from the pool of material created through this and attempts to approach the moment of performance from the perspective of a child and find an artistic realization for this.
