Introduction: Dr. Sabine Ziegenrücker, head of the art and history department in Reinickendorf
5 years of “My dear child”. About the sponsorship project: Claudia Wasow-Kania, education and mediation, Museum Reinickendorf, in conversation with Karen Scheper, initiator and project manager “My dear child” and Thomas Grüßing, project teacher at the Carl Bosch School and the sponsorship project “Dear Margarete”.
In connection:
Project presentation “Cake for Gerhard”: Lea Hagen, project teacher and students from Georg-Herwegh-Gymnasium 2023/24
Musical accompaniment: sound & breath Maria Todtenhaupt – harp and Clemens R. Hoffmann – saxophone
Afterwards there will be a laying of flowers at the memorial plaque.
At 5 p.m. you have the opportunity to take part in a guided tour of the memorial rooms with Imke Küster, in which the history of the place is explained based on the fates of patients. Works from the “Cake for Gerhard” and “Dear Margarete” projects are also shown in the memorial rooms and outside.
