Seasonal highlights from chef Daniel Müller meet the icon from Champagne

On October 20th, champagne in the Charlotte & Fritz restaurant will be a suitable accompaniment to a special autumnal dinner. In collaboration with Veuve Clicquot Brand Ambassador Gustavo Klaebisch, chef Daniel Müller has put together an exquisite four-course menu that, combined with various champagnes, promises an unforgettable culinary experience.

The vintage champagnes, both white and rosé, highlight the seasonal flavors of the menu. Gustavo Klaebisch will be present this evening and will offer fascinating insights into the extraordinary world of Veuve Clicquot.

As a starter, a brook trout with lime, black garlic, tomatoes, Roscoff onions and tapioca is served, accompanied by Veuve Clicquot Vintage 2012 Brut - a champagne with fresh elegance and delicate, slightly woody vanilla and roasted aromas. The intermediate course, larger tortelloni with Beurre Blanc and Imperial Gold caviar, promises a surprising harmony in combination with the freshness, complexity and depth of the Veuve Clicquot Extra Brut Extra Old. The fresh and refined Veuve Clicquot La Grand Dame proves to be the perfect accompaniment to the main course, veal fillet with summer truffle, salsify and jus. As a crowning finale, elderberry combines with peppers, fennel, blackberries and nut butter in a harmonious combination with the characterful Veuve Clicquot Rosé Vintage 2015.

As always, Daniel Müller attaches great importance to regionality and the quality of the ingredients, which the restaurant sources exclusively from proven suppliers.
