Broken Bones is about the structure of our bones and their crucial role during the body's ageing process. What are the hidden stories of our bones? What could you find in your body that would help you realize who you are and what life has brought you?
The performance uses dance to approach the question of how dense layers of deep memories, shared histories and incomplete events accumulate in the body and how these layers can be set in motion. Queliz's work focuses on how we respond to radical change and how we move forward with our bones to complete our individual journey.
Broken Bones is an exploration that seeks to deepen ability to connect with life, mobility and structure. It utilizes various skills and tools of energy work and the anatomy of the human body.
