The Brauseboys celebrated their 20th birthday in 2023. Almost as long, now for the 18th time!, there has been her annual review “On Never Again” – now an institution in Berlin.
In their weekly reading shows, the reading boy group has lived through and commented on the year intensively, now Thilo Bock, Robert Rescue, Frank Sorge, Volker Surmann and Heiko Werning are sorting through their memories: What remains, what evaporates in the heat of history?
Satire and songs from piano, ukulele and reeds, moving pictures from the wall - the Brauseboys present their traditional review of the year in their usual multimedia style. An evening between Barbie and Prigozhin, a traffic light dispute and a lion pig.
The Brauseboys are a reading stage founded in Wedding, have been reading their texts every Thursday in Berlin for 20 years and have not let pandemics or wars stop them. Its current home is the “Haus der Sinne” cultural stage in Prenzlauer Berg.
More than 1,500 enthusiastic viewers see her annual review “Goodbye Again” every year. To mark the year in review, an annual best-of is published as a book by Satyr-Verlag.
