Premiere on July 27, 2022 until August 7, 2022

"Do you need `a receipt?" is the first not very romantic sentence that falls between Polly Hunter and Sebastian aka Jeremy Cooper,. She has had a cab ride and a busy day, he has had an average day as a cab driver. Polly has had her golden days as a pop star and Sebastian never had any. The two are as different as can be.

She, washed with all the waters of show business and thus with all the low blows, driven by ambition and the desire to build on old successes. He, clueless, without any ambition worth mentioning, content in his cab and beyond a glamorous life. But they have one thing in common: their love of jazz. She as a singer, he as a saxophonist. Both indulge in this passion to the exclusion of the public. Due to his insistence and her rejection of him, a hateful relationship develops, which is constantly put to the test and which raises the question: What can music save and where will their encounter lead them?

In his latest comedy, René Heinersdorff has written an amusing two-person play with a sharp pen and fine irony, which puts small malice and big feelings in perspective in a pointed exchange of blows. The idea and the music come from composer and music producer Harold Faltermeyer. "AXEL F.", the theme tune of "Beverly Hills Cop", made Harold Faltermeyer world famous in the early eighties and a pioneer of the synthesizer age. The soundtrack to "Beverly Hills Cop" and the anthem for "Top Gun" earned him two Grammys, among other awards.

Together, the two have created an evening that documents their versatility in their métiers and have written and composed the roles for Anja Kruse and Ingolf Lück.
