Featuring the bands RADAR and ORA BLU
“Live in Color” is a process-oriented, modular exhibition in which paintings are created in direct response to live music and undergo a continuous transformation. Past live-painting works meet new performances, creating an urban space that blends intuition, choreography, and multimedia intensity. The exhibition does not see itself as a static format, but as a living system that continues to grow through every artistic encounter.

Midissage - Erold Sommer - Live in Farbe - Mit den Bands RADAR + ORA BLU
In a collaborative multimedia performance, painter Erold Sommer meets musicians.
While the bands are enclosed within construction fences, the silhouettes of the performers are depicted, driven by the musical impulses. At the end of the performance, the sound of the bands echoes onto a cotton canvas.
RADAR, the rock-pop band from the capital, has shown with their first three EPs what they think of pigeonholing. Since their founding in 2020, they have earned a reputation as live show powerhouses and, with their musical diversity, prove that they are declaring war on musical boredom.
ORA BLU is a Berlin-based alt-pop band inspired by “ora blu,” the Italian term for the mystical “blue hour.”
Listening to ORA BLU feels like being on a road trip at dawn, on the rooftop of a big city at night, or on a balmy summer night in Berlin. ORA BLU’s music is inspired by artists like Tom Misch, Bonobo, the XX, and FKJ, yet the result is unmistakably their own.
