Sebastian Fritsch is a finalist and prize winner of various national and international competitions. Fritsch studied cello at the Freiburg University of Music from 2014 to 2018. In 2018, he was accepted into the cello class of Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt in Weimar. He is also a scholarship holder of the International Music Academy Liechtenstein. Sebastian Fritsch plays a cello by Thorsten Theis from 2016, which is provided to him by the Karl Schlecht
